Standard Developer Edition

A low-cost introduction to Alpha Software, but one that has all the Desktop Functionality

Pro Developer Edition

Pro includes both DESKTOP and WEB design tools, including a local web server which enables you to design your web sites

Enterprise Developer Edition

This product includes the ability to use SQL tables in both desktop and Web projects. Reporting tools are enhanced. SQL tools have an excellent visual query builder and use Portable or Native SQL

WAS (Web Application Server)

WAS is required for deploying web projects. It can support SQL, local tables, and ODBC and has bult-in security components

Normally only one WAS is required for as many web users as you need

RUNTIME Desktop Runtime Editions are used when you want to deploy your application as desktop applications across multiple users and/or sites.

If you are building an application which you want to resell, you only need 1 runtime license - and you can resell it as many times as you like.

RUNTIME PLUS is an application which has the ability to allow end users to create and modify their own reports
